I know I found that information before, a line I must add to a file so I can hear ac3 while viewing live-tv, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Sad

Anyone can remind me, show me where that info is? Thanks.

config.xml located in the GBPVR program folder. Use Notepad to edit the file because WordPad will corrupt it.

Ok, maybe kind of strange question after all this time but, since I'm using an HDPVR to capture, I switched between AC3 and AAC sound. Now, I've edited config.xml to finally hear AC3, but of course when I switch to AAC, I'm not hearing a thing.

So I've tried to edit the added line, switching AC3 for AAC... and I'm not hearing AAC. Sad What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Do you have an AAC decoder installed and selected in GBPVR's Config?

AAhhh... it's not set at the moment. I'm recording right now, I'll try to set it up after, and I'll get back to you on this!

Thanks for reminding me hehe.

Update: all good, set to 'Arcsoft Audio Decoder' and I can hear. Smile

Ok, now the problem is that each time I switched between AC3 and AAC I've got to edit the filename... this is tiring! Anyway to set something in the file so I can hear either ac3 or aac without having to edit the file each time??
