iPlayer Plug-in hangs PVRX2

Downloaded iPlayer plug-in, configured it (I thought). but all that happens when I select the plug-in on the PVRx2 menu is that PVRX2 hangs. Not easy to get out of the hang either - mouse frozen amd system usually needs a reboot

I guess some misconfiguration. Attached in a zip of the ilpayer log file plus the config logfile. Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong

Look under supporting Dll's on the above page. I'd recommend that a link be placed on the iplayer plugin page.

Installed them as suggested, thanks. Modest improvement - the plug-in doesn't hang the whole computer now, just hangs PVRX2. Feels even more like a configuration problem now

Post a new set of logs and someone will take a look.

Logs herewith, thanks. Don't know if it is significant, but I had to stop GetiPlayer service manually before it would let me compress the logs, even the rest of GBPVR was stopped

Strange the logs do not seem to show a problem.

Have you got verbose logging turned on in GBPVR?

I set the log level to debug and reran, same behaviour, Logs attached. Again had to stop the iPlayer services manually

Hmm, not a lot to go on. Seems strange that the system completely hangs :confused:

Have you got any firewall software running or anti virus sw that is stopping interprocess communication from happening?

Also try upgrading to the latest version and see if that makes a difference.
