Not sure what I've done to mess up my system. Over the last couple weeks, I added a new video card (Radeon HD4650), and a webcam. Somewhere along the line Comcast changed their cable lineups as well.

I started having trouble getting QAM channels on my HVR-1600, so I rescanned my QAM, and re-mapped several channels. The rescan worked fine I found all my channels, sound and video displayed in the tool.

However, now, in PVRX2, QAM does not play at all, no video, no sound.

Attached are logs that show attempts to watch tv:

Channel 5 - qam SD
Channel 105 - qam HD
Channel 529 - analog

In this example, even the analog does not work. If I choose the analog channel first (comcast STB), it will display, and as long as I stay on analog channel (STB), everything works. But as soon as I go to a QAM only channel, no video, no sound...

Any ideas?

I should note, I re-installed WinTV 7, it finds and displays the channels fine.

Maybe this is the problem:

Code:
2009-11-15 22:47:43.906    VERBOSE    FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Encoder pass-through
[SIZE="1"]My projects:
SAF6 (Standalone Filters)

If you set the multiplexer to TS Mux, and try to record one of these channels, do you end up with a file with data in it? (ie, bigger than zero bytes)

Can you post a recording log so I can check the lock status?

I'll also need to see the config logs from a scan attempt.

Ok, did a re-scan, config logs attached.

Did a quick record:
529 - analog
5 - qam (0 byte file)

To be honest, I'm not really sure.

When I read your original description, I was pretty sure it was something like the services had moved or changed PIDs, and the digital->epg mapping was no longer correct, but I've compared the tuning information and pids and these all look correct.

You could maybe try creating a c:\temp directory, and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\LogPSIProcessing=2 registry setting, then try scheduling a one minute recording on 5 KING, then post the c:\temp\psi.log. This way I can see if the device is delivering any data.

Does it work if you set the following in config:

Code:
<BDADisableStatusChecks>false</BDADisableStatusChecks>
  <BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording>1</BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording>
