It might be worth mentioning that WizMetadataGrabber is a full-functioned grabber/editor.

does presence of mymovies.xml take precedence over embedded data? [edit: yes]
and isn't there a field in mymovies.xml for coverart/thumbnail? [edit:yes]
[a convenient way to place all media in one dir]
i also added mymovies.xml, usefull for dvd's, etc. etc...

What is the mymovies.xml format? Is it from WMC? What kind of tools are there to easily create this type of metadata files (if any)?

all i know is it's from mymovies plugin on mce, and same format as regular filename.xml...
[doesn't use the whole real mymovies.xml format]
i tried multiple files per xml, but it didn't work..
it's just a limited version of the other one..
[usefull only for dvd's which must be in their own dir anyways,and manual imports]
