Laptop to HDTV

I thought this might be a good place to ask. I want to hook my laptop to my HDTV. The laptop has an S-video & VGA port... which one is the best to use & what cable do I need?

I own a Sony BRAVIA 26in, this one,

Use the VGA output. It will allow you to use the full 1366 x 768 resolution of the TV.

But what cable will connect to that tv? VGA to what? HDMI?
