Hauppauge 350 Audio / Video out of sync

I am using a Hauppauge 350 output to drive my TV set. Some shows play back with the Audio / Video out of sync. Playing the show directly on the pc appears fine as well as playing the show with wintv outputting to the TV. It is not every recording and I have no way of predicting when it will occur. Any ideas?

A couple users had report this in the past and fixed by defraging the harddrive. Strange, I know - but I'll take their word for it.

The playback is all done in hardware, so there isnt really anything I can do to adjust the synchronization. You could try updated PVR350 drivers. They might help.

I had and still am having a bit of sound sync problem the same as you. I tried turning Off Play local as suggested in another thread. I don't know what it does but it seemed to cure the problem quite well. Now I still notice a slight sync problem once in a while, but nowhere near as bad as before. You may want to try it. I had the same problem and I have fixed it!!!!
 The problem is the (standard) BIOS of the EPIA M10000, update it to version 1.16 and your problem is fixed ! |
