Aspect ratio fun

I used to be happy

Go figure: I start using ffdshow to fix the aspect ratio in avi files I have (from help I found here). Works great, I'm happy.

Then I use ffdshow for mpeg2. It letterboxes live tv now. Not so bad, but I'd rather it be full screen.

Now, if I disable it in ffdshow, anything I've recorded just stutters and doesn't play right. Now I have to turn the libracodec back on in ffdshow to wacth recorded shows, but the letterboxing is back for livetv.

Agian, the letterboxing on live tv isn't the end of the world, but it's annoying that I used to have that right before.

Nm, I think. I recorded w/ the libracodec off, and it plays back fine, and w/ the right ratio. TV is fine now.

The only reason I didn't try something this obvious before is because I though ffdshow was hadnling decode only, and it wouldn't effect recording.
