touch screen friendly

it would be nice to make the overall gbpvr interface more functional with a touch screen. implementing up/down/left/right buttons (could be invisible hot areas or arrows as in the video library) and menu navigation (home), for example.

sometimes i just don't want to turn on the dlp or my desktop (to connect to the htpc via vnc) or hold the keyboard in order use gbpvr for just a couple of minutes. that's the intended use of the ahanix 7" touchscreen.

I'd like this as well. One or two up/down buttons appeared some time ago, but never expanded to cover all menus.
Someone did write a little on-screen navigation pad, but I'm not sure where it is now...
I gave up and just use my tablet PC as a jukebox now.

I'd love to see this, would maybe make the iPad make sense :-)

Check out THINKFLOOD's RedEye. It uses a $188 device to connect the infrared to the wifi turning an iPad into a universal remote. Looks like the future of universal remotes. It may pave the way for the seamless integration of web connected personal computers with home entertainment electronics.
