Motor support needed

I know this has been requested in this section twice in the past. Here are the threads:

Satellite free to air consists of a few(worth watching) channels here and there pretty much spread out across several orbital positions. This is why the use of motors is so practical.

All I can give you is a "maybe in a future release". I do own motor, but it isnt attached to my dish (since I dont own a satellite meter, and I fear I'll never finding my satellite again , and also my main DVB-S test devices are not capable of driving a motor)

I've also already taken on too much for the next release, so I'm not keen to take on any additional tasks until the next release is out.

I contacted TBS support and requested information to give to the developers of DVB apps to enable motor, switching, and the DVB-S2 8PSK mondulation. Here is the link they gave me:

If you're willing to add support for a raw diseqc command per satellite, I'm willing to be your ginnie pig. I'll install any debugging software you need.

Sorry, its not something I can tackle at this stage. I've already to-do list that is too long for the next release.

I didn't mean to come off as if I were rushing you. I'm just saying when you get the time, my motor is aligned and my bda TBS DVB-S2 tuner is able to drive it. Just let me know if you're interested.

I've always thought having a motor would be fun, but not something I've spent the cash on or think I'd have the ability to install myself. So at some point in the future would be fun to play with via GBPVR...
