Possible workaround for LiveTV issue on the NMT

Many people have noted there is a problem in GBPVR 1.4.7 playing LiveTV which causes MVP's and NMT's to "hang" if you keep it on the same station for a couple of program changes. I think I've figured out a hack that seems correct this by having the mvpmcx2 send the LiveTV key at the appropriate moment. I've been very pleased with my results and I'd like to see how this works for you. If any of you would like to try the attached and leave your NMT on one channel for a long period of time that would certainly help me test.

This seems to have the added benefit that it also fixes problems I had with the future view (hitting play on a show in the future that gets selected as blue) not working but I have to test this more.

I gave this an overnight test with no problems followed by 12 hours today with 50 different program changes (of mainly children's programming) without a hitch. With restarting I've just watched over an hour of HD hockey.

Likewise, I've run if for a day and a night on LiveTV with no problems noticed.

Thanks for testing this Martin. It was the only thing I didn't like on my setup, and I wanted sub to fix for 1.5.x (and I still do) Now there's nothing on my todo list!

Sheik Yerbouti pointed out a bug which could arise after a recording finished playing, causing LiveTV to start after a few seconds . I've updated the file in post 1 (and eliminated some dead code where I checked a flag in error).

Ok I had abc2 going which has epg changes about every 15 minutes and all is going well. I have now seen three epg changes and it is still running!!

Thanks Dave, if I don't get more instances of LiveTV starting incorrectly I'll package this so NMTInstall will pull it. I really wanted to a solution for the hockey playoffs that started this week and it was a fluke this idea worked.

Yippee ... wife's noticed it and I thought it was just the setup not handling short programs shifting from program to program on one channel. Can't wait to try it!

Finally got to upgrade to 1.4.7 with this fix. I have been running for a couple of days with no issues. Excellent job.
