Hello,

I try to disable the timeshift mode.

I want record the tv, just when I want

The timeshift mode with Hauppauge HD PVR is not Ok, because when I change the channel, the HD PVR stop and resume the record on the other channel.

But after a lot of channel change, The HD PVR bug

I did not need the timeshift, I just want change the channel and record when I want.

Help me to disable the timeshift mode please

Config -> "Misc" tab -> "Live Preview Mode" section -> Check "Use Live Preview mode if possible".

Using 'live preview' means that you will not be timeshifting. By "record" if you mean that the blue lights are lit up, then that is normal because that means the HD-PVR is being accessed by the system.

It sounds like you have an issue with your H264 decoders that is causing the jerking.

Which H264 decoder are you using, and which renderer, and which OS?

I say that the the hd pvr record because when I use Arcsoft total media extreme, I can watch the video of the hd pvr, and the blue light not lit up ?

My config

Windows XP
Intel Centrino core 2 duo 6500
Memory 4Go
ATI mobility radeon HD 4650
Audio : Realtek HD

Config GBPVR

Playback :
Video renderer : EVR
Video decoder : System default
Audio decoder : System default
AC decoder : System default
Audio renderer : System default
H264 decoder : Arcsoft video decoder
AAC decoder : System default
HE-AAC decoder : System default
DD+ / E-AC3 : System default

For get the sound, I add :
"<PreferredHDPVRAudioFormat>AC3</PreferredHDPVRAudioFormat>" in the config.xml

Thank you for your help

I always have the front panel blue power light, but the bright band is on in GBPVR and off in TME if I configure TME to disable the bling LED's.

I have not configured TME for that.

And when I change the channel on my decoder DVB-T :

On TME - It's like on my TV, just one second delay (It's normal)
But on GBPVR, the blue bright band is on->off->on, and I have 3 or 4 second delay.

And after a lot of channel change, I have a black screen.

The 3 or 4 second delay is not permanent, It's just for the display appear

timeshifting with the HDPVR is broken in the current version, but sub has said the next version should take care of it.

for now, you can use the GraphRecorder plugin for both timeshifting and live preview if you want. (and it works just fine)
