Mapping Channels To EPG

In setting up digital cable using the HVR2250, mapping the channels to match EPG channels is laborious. Is there a shortcut way of doing it???

When it comes to digital cable, unfortunately most broadcasters dont identify their channels in the stream so there is no way GB-PVR can do the mapping automatically for you.

Thanks, sub. I thought that might be the case. GBPVR is an amazing program, considering all that it can do - free or otherwise...

I'm about 60 miles from Louisville, but my cable provider is an independent local operation. It's not a problem. It just takes a little time to do. Thanks for the offer...

I clean installed again, and had the same issue. I decided to give it a rest. I installed some of my other audio/video programs, and that solved the problem! Apparently, one of those programs installs or corrects the default codec.
