IR Server Suite Not Always Changing Channels

I am having a weird problem with IR Server Suite and GBPVR since my Windows 7 reinstall.

"GB-PVR Recording Service" is allowed to interact with the desktop. In GBPVR Config, the .exe Channel Changer is set to...

C:\Program Files (x86)\IR Server Suite\IR Blast\IRBlast.exe
-host localhost -channel {channel}

In IR Server Suite's TRANSLATOR, 0-9 have been programed.

It's like sometimes it works then other times it does not. Sometimes I go to the Guide, select something to watch and the channel is changed. Other times I select something to watch and absolutely no channel change happens.

Might anyone have an idea?

I'd use HIP if it would work in Windows 7 64-bit, but I guess Australians use Windows 95 for everything.

hip does work in win7 if you use the vista alternate driver...tho it's probably even less reliable..
[tho i do have it working well by adding a pre-blast 'enter']
so far it's worked for all recordings..

If your STB is listed under c:\program DATA\IR Server Suite\Set Top Boxes copy the codes to c:\program DATA\IR Server Suite\IR Commands. My channel changing has been rock solid using this method

It may work now. http://forums.dvbowners.com/index.php?showtopic=11819 Before that came out I went to 32bit from 64bit so I could use HIP, but it still wouldn't work all the time unless I disabled UAC. I got tired of configuring things so I never tried IR Server again after that.

I "THINK" I fixed IR Server...

1) Install IR Server.
2) Reboot.
3) Open Translator and have it learn STB remote codes 0-9 and ENTER.
4) Reboot.
5) Configure .EXE Channel Changer in GBPVR.
6) Reboot.

Seems to be working fine now.

IR Server Suite - Test Build 1.4.2.3496 (the latest as of the date of this post) seems to work perfectly fine.

Here are the .EXE Channel Changer settings i am using in GBPVR....

C:\Program Files (x86)\IR Server Suite\IRBlast.exe

-host localhost -channel {channel} -delay 350

The -delay 350 gives 350 milliseconds between key presses. The default is 50 milliseconds which is a bit too fast.
