Can't get the sattelite side of this tuner to work at all, the DVB-T works fine.

Are you on Vista/Win7? If so, you could try running NextPVR.exe with 'run as administrator' to see if it makes any difference.

Vista, and now it works, I feel like an idiot mate as this is what I would usually do will any program usually but I didn't try it this time.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me.

Will finish setup after 'State of Origin' tonight.
Can't believe how fast NPVR is at starting up 'videos', changing channels etc. really nice coding job.
Can I setup the mini-guide via a key setting for my MCE remote like in GB-PVR?

Hopefully now that you've run it once as administrator it'll now work as a regular use. It was having problems with not finding the DVB-S tuning space, and wasnt able to create one.

There isnt a full mini-guide like GB-PVR had, but I'll probably add one in future. You can press the up/down buttons to see a sort of mini guide for the currently airing shows.

I would definitely like to see a mini guide. I've been pressing the Guide button on my hauppauge remote and assumed it was a remote setting problem :-) There's no substitute for scanning through shed loads of relatively crap channels hoping to find something better on now or shortly than the thing you are watching. It'd be a pain to have to stop and go back into the main guide.

Did you try the current up/down info for this purpose? It shows whats on now/next on each channel before pressing enter to commit to changing to that channel, or 'escape' to stay on the current channel. This is almost the same as what you got with the GB-PVR mini-guide(ie Ctrl-G in GB-PVR) (but not the same as the small version of the full guide you'd with F1).

With the new now/next mini guide visible, you can also press the record key (Ctrl-K), it'll record that show. Its multi-record aware, so will let you schedule multiple recordings etc.
