DVB-S fine with the update.

Sadly I am still getting the hangup with DVB-T scanning with an exception if OK or Cancel clicked. Have to kill it with task manager end task.

I ran gbpvr config just after the attempt with npvr and enclose the logs in case they show anything odd with the data received?

thanks

After much digging through boxes, I eventually found a Nova-T 500 and tried it. Unfortunately it worked here. It would have been a lot easier if I'd got the same problem you're experiencing... Grrr...

I have the Nova T-500 (dual tuner) - and it seems to be working fine for scanning on my XP box. Im running the latest drivers from the hauppauge website. Maybe thats worth a try?

OK Thanks for that both. Could I ask what version of drivers you have loaded Kyle and what the board is called in config???
Mine is :-
Hauppauge Computer Works, Inc. 28/08/2009 4.3.27240.0 and n-pvr reports it as Nova-DT DVB-T tuner (Dev1 Path0) (and (1)

I'll check for alternative drivers later today.

I'm certain it scanned though when I installed the very first version.......

My Card gets detected as :

Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 DVB-T Tuner (Dev1 Path0)
Hauppauge WinTV MOD7700 DVB-T Tuner (Dev1 Path1)

Prob because ive used the following driver
Nova-T-TD-Stick_3_11_27070_WHQL

actually it looks like mine arent the latest drivers - they are dated 2008.

maybe the chipsets are different however - i had downloaded other drivers however xp didnt like them saying there wasnt any matching hardware... hence why i used the above ones.

not sure if this helps your out much Sad

I've already removed the device from the machine, so I cant tell you the driver version, but it was the current version on the Hauppauge.co.uk web site.

OK, thanks for that, I've tried older drivers and no joy - looks like I may be trying Windows 7 over the weekend.

Just to let you know sub, that shoving Windows 7 on and the same drivers - N-PVR scans fine now.

All I have now is the nausea of having to install (and find the disks) 8 years worth of software (my "old machine" is currently running in a VM).
