A few weeks ago I programmed NPVR to record, for a season, a double episode of CSI. Later I established that it was not the version of CSI required by my wife so I cancelled it, but it keeps coming back each time an EPG update is done! As you would expect, this double episode consists of two 1 hour long episodes but I need to cancel each twice - i.e. I cancel one episode but it remains highlighted red so I cancel it a second time and then it changes to green. I then repeat this process for the other episode. BUT it all returns at the next EPG update. I note that I have a dual tuner, so that is probably the reason it is programmed twice, as I get two recordings of each episode.

I currently have v1.5.28 but this problem has carried over from previous versions. I have emptied the EPG but the unwanted programming returns when the EPG is reloaded. I do not have this problem with any other programmed recordings.

Did you delete it on the 'Recurring' or 'Pending' screen? It sounds like you're deleting it on the Pending screen.

I'm deleting it by double clicking on the TV Guide entry then selecting cancel. It shows on Status - Pending before I delete it but not afterwards.

.... I've got the hint from your comment that there is another way so I've investigated more deeply. As I never ever watch my recordings using GBPVR I'm not familiar with the options in the recordings screen which I thought was for only watching them and didn't realise that there are also controls there for setting the programming of them. The first time slot appears in both Pending and Recurring but the second in Pending only. Anyway, I cleared them out of those two and did an EPG update and they stayed away.

Thanks sub.
