black screen on early termination of viewing 1.5.28

Nextpvr locks up with a black screen, requiring manual kill of the task, where viewing a channel for less than (approx) a minute, then backing out to the guide again. Disk activity pattern would indicate the recording process is still going. Anything 2 mins or longer and its OK.. anyone else seen this? A strong discouragement to channel surf.

have you applied the patches from post 2 of the sticky thread at the top of the NPVR forum?

reproduce this with current patches and post logs.

Tks. all patches applied and services refreshed.. same issue w black screen , requiring manual termination of nextpvr . logs attached.. Run time approx 20 secs before backing out of channel by esc key. entry to live tv via epg, not live TV manu if that makes any difference

just checked and this does not happen when exiting from live TV (menu) , only when access through EPG.. There, that should make it easier..

ah well I thought I was right, but it just jammed exiting the Live TV menu too.
