Trying to add an additional capture card

I have windows vista ultimate, two pvr-150 mce capture cards. I went to the forum and the documentation. the example there did not help. Here is my direct.ine file if someone can give me an example to add another card. I would appreciate it.

I can't help you with the file you posted but if you are talking about PVRX2 rather than NPVR, then the one stumbling block I had with adding a tuner card via CONFIG was to identify the second one as Device #2 because it is the second one using the same driver as the first card. When you have two completely different cards (with different drivers) then both cards are identified as Device #1.

Agreed. - it is down to the driver as to the name and device number given to a second card, but in general device nr = card number.
For Hauppauge cards the name stays the same and you use the next available device number in config source.

I tried to change the device to device 1 in config no response. it is pvrx2. the latest version

I also disabled each one in device manager. it appears that when I disable one device the other takes over.

I tried to have one device as device #1 and device #1
I tried to have one device as device #1 and device #2

Do you need EPG plugin for both devices?

I am just using it for the first one.

Yes, both tuners need fully setting up with channels and the like. The EPG will only show a single channel if the names are the same in the source setup and the recording service will then be able to use both tuners if required.

tick the box that says only show devices on this machine
then you should only get 2 devices showing in the drop down #1 and #2 when you name them
if you dont get 2 in the drop down list you may not have the drivers loaded right

I did both of these things. I do only get 1 card in the drop down list when I check the box.

I can not figure out how to see this other card. this should be straight forward right?

OK it works now. I did the above and changed one device as device #1 and the other as device #2. Both cards have epg sources. I selected the only card there.
