NPVR PC client freeze when playing live tv

I have a new install of NPVR on a Vista server, with a couple of Acer R3610 PC clients. Recordings play back OK on the clients, but Live TV will freeze video and audio at random times. The clients are configured to use streaming over a GBit network. The server records from dvb-t tuners . The temporary ts files on the server continue to grow after the client has frozen. Hitting escape on the client will return me to the menu and I can then go back into live tv.

I've had a quick look at the logs, but they don't throw any light for me, perhaps someone smarter can have a look.

BTW, the clients are using Win7, npvr 1.5.31, and MS DTV-DVD for mpeg2.

Same problem here. While this client is a huge improvement of the older one, there is an issue with livetv. When I watch live tv it is choppy and keeps stopping. However, I can exit and go the buffered file and play it back (my videos directory is my recordings directory) and it plays smoothly with no problems. Recordings also play smoothly. So the network part is not the issue.

Double check the permissions on your data folder and files:

Yeah, you'd need to fix that, or no scheduling recordings, storing resume points etc.

Also, are you using wired or wireless network?

My share is writable and I am using a wired network.

It definitely looks like is read only in that error message.

That error was for trummel, I have a slightly different problem

Reproduce the issue and post your logs.

The share was read only, easily fixed. However the problem still remains. Until the point it freezes, it seems smooth, but as far as I can see there is nothing significant at the point it freezes up. I'm inclined to wonder if it something to do with the ION GPU acceleration on my R3610's under Win7 as an R3600 with Vista seems to be OK.

New client logs attached, would any of the logs from the server throw any light?

In order to isolate the R3610 as the issue, I decided to install a client on my desktop PC (Core 2 duo E7500, 3Gb memory and Win 7 Pro).

It exhibits exactly the same issue, plays live TV for a while and then the video and audio freeze.

I also configured a PCH A110. That works flawlessly.

On running on the R3610 again I got the record log attached on the server. Could someone tell me the significance or otherwise of the messages at the bottom that seem to indicate some kind of underrun.
