Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T - Crash after DVB-T channel scan

I just trying to install nPVR 1.5.31 on my HTPC, but it is crashing after channel scan.

Here is LOG.

Any ideas?

Did it actually complete the scan and find all channels, or didnt have a problem on the last one it scanned before completing the scan?

All chanell are founded, it crashed just after "Scan complete" apear.
Continue doesnot work, i need to kill it using task manager.

I've looked at the code in question a stack of times, and I cant see how this can possibly happen. Some timer events seems to be firing after the timer is stopped. The log clearly shows it being stopped, and the error message clearly shows it's still firing. To be honest, I've got no idea.

Hi Hoborg,

I had a very similar problem with hauppauge Nova-T-500 under WinXP, the crash would come towards the end of the scan. I downloaded and installed the latest Hauppauge drivers, and the problem went away:

Version of the drivers now installed is 4.3.27240

BTW the scans were always stable under GBPVR.

Could you check on the Hauppauge website for updated drivers for your card?
