Can I have recordings in chunks?

Is it possible to get the recordings in chunks? It's rather unpractical for me to deal with 6Gb files. I rather have 6 1Gb.

Is this configurable?

Yes, I know I can do it post. But if it's implemented allready, why do everything the hard way? :-)

If it's not implemented, can you consdier implement it?

No - sorry. I thought about it in the past and decided it wasnt something I wanted to do. It makes recording and playback much more awkward.

Thanks for you answers. I understand that the recording process will be more complicated, but playback can't be worser than having a ripped DVD in three files.

Anyway, I'll try to do it myself. It's that database thing again! :-)
