online hosted xmltv epg

is it possible to use a xmltv file that is hosted online?
I don't want to have to manually download it everyday

I use XMLTV GUI to grab EPG data off the web. It can be run from the command line, so I've created a batch file which does the complete task with one double click.
Using Windows Task Scheduler I have the batch file automatically executed weekly 3am Sunday morning (well out of the way).

Name the batch file 'UpdateEPG.bat' and have it in the scripts directory and it will run just prior to npvr's epg update all by itself.

http://www.epg-service.tv/Sydney/fta/output.xmltv is the file i need, i guess wget would be best to grab this? XMLTV GUI doesnt seem to have the option to DL this.
Would be great to just be able to point NPVR to this xmltv file online and get it to dl it for me
