Hi,
I am just setting up networked TV in my house and I am having problems with playing back Recordings on a client PC. The files play back fine via the Videos menu but I would rather play back via Recordings as you get the EPG program summary info and What's new etc. On the Recordings menu I get the list of programs etc OK but when I try to play one I get a black screen. The time bar shows 00.00.00 at both ends. No error messages.
The Server and client are connected via a wired ethernet network. I do have different decoders on the client and server (I am using the ATI decoders that came with the server graphics card on the server and Mainconcept on the Client). Could this be an issue? It is puzzling me as playback is perfect via the Videos menu on the client and the server plays recordings back fine locally too.
I am also running Serviio on the server to share NPVR recordings to a Sony TV via DLNA. This works well and the two programs don't seem to clash at all.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks
