Does The Program Need To Be Open To Record?

I am using GB-PVR with my MVP. If I've scheduled a recording, it works if I am running the MVP server. Does it work if neither the server or the GB-PVR program are running? Just wondering incase I've scheduled a recording and I forget to have the service running.

it will record the program as long as "GBPVRRecordingService.exe" is running. this auto starts with windows, if mvp and gbpvr is closed this *should* still be running, close down the mvp and gpbvr and check in the task manager if its running, if its running it will record.

Thanks for the quick reply - yes I think that's always running - it's the little GBPVR icon in the taskbar - goes green when recording

nah thats gbpvrtray.exe, but i think if thats there chances are "GBPVRRecordingService.exe" is also running.
