My system has suddenly developed a new problem, apparently only yesterday. When I try to manually cancel recordings, it sometimes behaves strangely. Sometimes it cancels normally, but often will not cancel the recording until as much as five minutes later. This causes a number of related problems (for example, starting other recordings), and the problem may or may not relate to a recording being skipped entirely overnight.

Despite the fact that the recording remains in the "pending" list, the light on the DVB-T tuner extinguishes immediately, so I don't believe it is a driver problem. The strangest thing about this is that I have performed a full restore of my system drive (including the GBPVR folder) from a backup more than two weeks old, when I was not having any such problems; I only retained my current CONFIG.XML, GBPVR.DB3, and some batch files I have developed myself. This system restore has had no effect on the problem described.

Attached are some logs from soon after I experienced the problem.

What time exactly did you try cancelling a recording? I couldnt see it in the logs.

About 5 minutes or so before I zipped the logs. I'll try again in an hour or two.

I'm sorry this took so long. I simply didn't have a recurrence at a convenient moment, until today. Logs are attached: I tried to cancel "German News" on SBS three times in a row, then stopped the recording service and zipped the logs.

I didn't notice in this case, but it happened again later, which made me wonder if it is related to recording times that don't match the EPG. In the later case, the Pending recordings list seemed to be reporting that a show had started at 2:03 AM, when, in fact, it had started at 2:03 PM.

I'm not really sure what to suggest for you. I cant see any obvious sign for errors in the logs. It looks like its sucessfully asking the device to stop.

Unfortunately GBPVR is no longer being updated, so cant add extra logging for you. If this had been with NextPVR then I'd definitely be able to get more logging in there to track down the cause for you. Sorry - had to say it.

I understand--but as I said elsewhere, my functionality depends upon plugins available only for GB-PVR. I was very sad when you stopped development for it.

I'm starting to think this is related to errors in my local EPG. I will keep an eye on that and update here.
