NPVR - client/server firewall ports

does someone know which ports are needed to be opened on windows firewall for client/server connection in npvr?

atm i set on client/server (after analyzing errors in log-files):
- 7969 tcp in/out
- 8968 tcp in/out

seems to work now but i'd like to know what is exactly necessary, and for what reason...

Which ports need to be open on the machine that has NPVR running for the MVP to work?

Opening TCP and UDP for NextPVR.exe and TCP for NRecord.exe on your local LAN is a safe enough rule. If you are paranoid and you need complex rules than you probably already know that netstat -an will show the list.
