1)I removed the recurring for lost
2)Then I selected westwing from the guide as record this episode 0 padding.
3)I went into the database and changed the start time from 9:00:00 to 9:03:00.
4)I went to the guide and picked to record Lost.
The only real pain is you have to do this every week, unless I can select recurring West Wing, then edit it's start time. I guess I would need to use the "This timeslot".

They both recorded fine, and seemed like they would keep their descriptions and everything, but I was putzing around with the renamerecording, and manually ran it while comskip was running, and buggered up Lost's entry in the database.

The CDKscheduler does it with the timeadustment element.

But I must warn you about using the program-- Although it works perfectly for me and all those that have been involved in testing, I'm almoust certain there are still bugs in the program. The goal of the scheduler was to handle all scheduling needs. Thus, causing lots of points of failures.

If you would be interested in testing the scheduler please download it from wiki. Create a priorityrecording file (XRecord/Guid2J - also in its early stage) can help.

I would be willing to help create the file as well.

I would then backup your db and run the program. If everything works perfectly, I would start using it in your production enviornment.

If not, send me the log and your prioirtyrecording file.

To answer your question, no there is no EASY way to do it. Setting up the priorityrecording file is easy. With the help of Jorm and XRecord I'm looking at ways to simplify the entire process.

I've been holding off on that, but it does appear to do what I want/need. The main reason I haven't tried it yet is, other than additional features, which are always cool, I really only have 2 problems with GBPVR,
1) Lost/Westwing (Kinda my own pet peeve)
2)No Conflicts between scheduled items on both capture sources. (I assume I am among the very few with more than one capture source on the same capture device)

I could actually use my problem #2 to an advantage. I could record 2 overlapping shows, one via internal tuner, and the other via cable box/AV/jacks WHen the second show kicks off it will record that with no conflict. The problem it will always cut the first one off, not cut the beginning of the second.

In your case, the CDKscheduler would use both caputre sources for the Lost/West Wing problem.

However, I would hold off for a while longer on using the program.

XRecord is about to come out with a major visual enhancement to create the file needed for the schedulerer and I'm going to make some minor tweaks to the file to make it easier to use.

Great, I'm in no rush. It is only a once a week issue. I might try some plugin work since I'm excited I got the renamerecording working better. It is a great idea, and I have one more tweak to do with it. I might use it as a basis for some other things I was thinking about.
