PCH-100 Menu Lag

I recently upgraded my TV to a nice HD model. When I switched my configuration from SD to HD, actions started showing a bit of lag between button press and something actually happening on screen.

So I'm curios if this is Server related (I'm running on a fairly old P4 3.0Ghz) or if there is something I have configured incorrectly. Here is the output of the Syntax Checker. (I don't actually use GB-PVR.html, I have index.html configured to auto load)

Yes, I am still running GBPVR, it just works so well I've been nervous to jump to NPVR.

The larger screen will mean more data so yes there is a bit more of a lag since 3 times more data has to be sent over the network. The complexity of the screen and the number of changes makes a difference too, Blue is much more efficient. I couldn't use Slick for this reason, but sub has improved things and the new Default NPVR skin doesn't lag as much

If you are using Blue, I can check your logs to see if there is a an error too. If you find it too distracting you can run the menus at a reduced resolution, the 1280x720 default is higher than the PCH's native mode and still output video at 1080p

Thanks for the quick reply!

I am running Slick, I'll switch over to Blue and see what kind of an improvement that makes. Then I'll start playing with reducing the menu resolution.

Blue skin made a pretty big difference. The lag is a lot less noticeable. Actually it's barely there unless i hold down the down arrow to scroll through the list, in which case it keeps scrolling after I let go. But I think I can handle that with the Harmony remote by increasing the key press delay.
