Hi,

I'm facing the same problem as described here - this time on NPVR/Windows 7.

Quote:The TV listings are off by 1 hour. Located in Canada which just had the new, 3 week earlier, "Daylight Savings Time" come into effect. The computers clock managed to adjust automatically but not GBPVR.

Solution:
Update http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst and empty the EPG in the GBPVR config utility. MS supports Win2000 to Vista. A reboot is not required.
Workarounds include hacking your timezone or waiting 3 weeks.
The issue may arise again should the USA decide the new DST is useless. Personally, I hate the changes.

I've tried applying the patch that was given back then, but it did not help.

I use DVB/ATSC EPG.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You might need Win 7 to get IST support from Microsoft, otherwise it is fixed GMT+2 or +3 and you have to set the timezone in the registry yourself.

I tried tzedit, but the shift is still there.

The funny thing is that Windows Media Center's EPG seems to be aligned.

Is there any way of manually shifting NPVR EPG times?

Sorry, no there isnt - it is dependent on you having your timezone and daylight savings set correctly.

I can probably count the number of people that have had a problem with this on the fingers of one hand, so it I dont think this is any major short coming in the app.

I am now having this problem. All of my scheduled recordings are manually entered with a specific start and stop time. I am not using the EPG. And all of my recordings are now scheduled to start an hour later. I am in the US. Currently using nPVR 2.0.3.

So, I exported all of my recordings. I deleted all of my recurring recordings. I decreased each start and stop time in the recurrings_backup.xml file by one hour. Imported that xml file, and now the start and stop times of my recurring list are off an hour, BUT the pending recordings have the correct start and stop times. Yikes! Why is the recurring list incorrect, but the pending list is now correct? (Before I did this, the recurring list was correct, and the pending list was off by an hour.)

One more oddity: If I manually enter a new recurring recording with specific start and stop times, the start & stop times appear correctly in both the recurring and pending lists. And when I export the recurring list, it has a +0500 time difference for that recording. But so do all of my other recurring recordings in that xml file. So, when I import those recurring recordings, the recurring list is inaccurate (an hour earlier than scheduled), and the pending list is spot on accurate. I hope that help in diagnosing the issue.

Manual recording are stored in Universal Time so they need to be redone after the time change.

I understand that concept, yet, it still had an effect on my recordings.
