Client stops responding at end of play

If i let my client machines(2) run to the end of the file nextpvr stops responding
It never returns to recordings menu as it should
bit of a pain as i normally just leave it playing then it shuts down when file stops playing

Is anyone else noticing have this happen also ?

Yes, it does it to me also. Had a quick look at the logs on both the server and on the client and there is nothing obvious on the client, but I've got this at the end of the server nrecord log.

I know the exception is caused by me killing the client off, but the failure of the read may be important.

Restarts OK though.

I have this exact same problem, if the file runs to the end it freezes NPVR (2.0.3)

NMT client users had a problem at EOF and this patch seems to have helped http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post405993 I don't know if helps for the PC client but it might be worth a shot, there might be better logging.

Thanks Martin. Unfortunately, I have already applied that patch and it fixed the problem on my PCH, but made no difference on the PC lients.

It may or not be related, but I've also noticed a tendency to freeze occaisionally in Live TV. I will post logs when I can catch it cleanly.

Hey Sub have you looked at this any update ?

No, I havnt looked yet. I've got it sitting in a separate browser tab to remind me to take a look though. I dont have a client PC setup here, so it's not quick for me to test this.

Here are a set of client and server logs for when you get the chance to look Sub. I've tried running with both your original version of nextpvr and with the modified one mentioned by Martin. There is no noticeable difference as far as this lock up is concerned. The attached logs are taken from the newer version, immediately after a lock up and client kill.
