NextPVR has stopped working

I finally did the big switch. Before the Big Dance this week I didn't want the crazy issues with gbpvr recordings so I changed over. One quick q, is there a way to search the guide?

Everything was going great until I imported my recordings and then I go the stopped working error. The thing is, it didn't stop working at all. I was able to set up a recording, record, playback, etc. No issues except for the error.

You'd need to use the Search Lite plugin to do this.

I cant see any sign of this error in the logs. Do you know when it happened, so I know where to look?

It literally happens ever time I start nPVR. The software has no bugs, it is just windows throws the error windows that I can minimize, but not close. Not so remote friendly.

Does it say anything in the windows event viewer?

Nothing that I can find. Just my VNC connection to the machine. No errors other than the quote I pasted above. Any advice on how to trace/troubleshoot the issue?

I can remember having a similar problem years ago with XP, but you'r obviously running W7x64. Maybe try reinstalling windows anyway, I think that's what I did back then.

Given that NRecord hasn't started since August, I suspect you have really messed thing up in August I see NPVR is in

C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\

but it looks like NRecord was running from a rather bizarre

C:\Dev\NextPVR\NRecord\bin\Debug

Didn't see that, but it is still strange that the app is working even when windows says it has stopped.

Yep, thats really odd. This is a directory used in my development environment. I cant see how you're ending up with this directory though. Maybe the InstallDirectory registry setting (in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\npvr or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\npvr) is missing or set incorrectly.

BTW, whats your machine name?

Sub, that makes a bit more sense, I checked and those logs are included with NPVR.
