After installing Next PVR and the decoders, I go to configure it and the only option that I have is "Disabled" any ideas what I can do to get them to show?

Exactly what decoders did you install?

Well you may get it working or you may not. It's not the best decoder anyway.

That is very much Reddwarf's opinion, since I consider it the best legally available decoder.

You may, but the fact remains that ffdshow does not work on all systems. Furthermore, it is a "Dick, Joe and Harry's dog" software Big Grin

Reddwarf we do this every time, so please stop, it is excellent software and it is free. I hate having to rebut but you leave me know choice, so why not stop posting your opinion and let users decide for themselves.

I think new users should get more than one opinion (your), that's only fair.

Besides, it is not only my opinion, it is my experience, and that's a fact you can't deny.

Ok I will not give my opinion about ffdshow if you don't or if you tame down your references, it is not definitely not bad software I am sorry you are having such trouble with ffdshow, but I think the problem is with you not the software.

Now THAT is your private opinion, in my view you should keep it to yourself.

That said, if you continue to recommend and brag about a software that you know may not work, you risk giving some people a lot of extra trouble that could have been avoided with correct information.
