USB and index.htm

I have tried and tried to edit my index.htm file to work to launch NPVR from a usb stick but can't get it to work. Everything works if I navigate from the PCH Start menu to the folder on the stick and click the NPVR.html file, but I can't get it to automatically start from the index file like I did when I was using a network share.

Does anyone have a working index.htm file that works with a USB launch? I can edit it to my liking (I think) as long as I have something to start with.

If you use NMTInstall2 to do the installation of mvpmcx2 it will do everything for you. If you have already installed this client, just tick the first option to install mvpmcx2 and then tick "Install Client" and "Write NMT Scripts" in the NMT Setup section.

Thanks for the quick reply. The install to the USB stick did everything and it works, but my index.htm file does not work like it used to when I was using a share. This is one of Jaggys optional add ons that kept me from having to navigate from the start screen. I did not think you installer confugured an index.htm file???

I was hoping Jaggy or someone else would post what they have working. I did not mean to bother you since I know you don't support the "advanced" items.

Sorry I misread. The PCH does load an index.htm when the USB is mounted but it would have to be in the root of the drive and not in the mvpmc folder.

As Martin said the index.htm index_sd.htm needs to be in the root of the USB stick, I have only done a couple of multi-server versions for NextPVR but you also need to use the usb_a.cgi option not the share option... example below

Cool, I moved the index to the root and it works. I did that before, but did not reboot the PCH and it did not work. Thanks. One step closer. Now to get the WOL working and I should be all done until I get my new Cablecard....
