Display TV Subtitle (Episode title) in Video metadata

I would like to request adding the ability to display a TV show subtitle in the video screen. Currently, NPVR reads an xml file like this:

and can display the TV show description. I was hoping to also add the TV show Subtitle.

Are you talking about OSD information that is displayed at the bottom of the screen in live tv? If so, the top line should already include the subtitle if it was available.

No, I was actually thinking about the videos screen when in either list or cover mode. It's not a big deal for me because I rename my tv shows with the name, air date and subtitle (episode title) already. I thought it might be a good added feature.

I have alot of .mpg content from the old GBPVR and have corresponding .xmls for the shows. I suppose most people would probably just import them into NPVR but I like the List view in videos better because I don't have to scroll through as many pages on the screen.

I expect that Iains' new video+ plugin may support something like this when it comes out so I'm not sure if its worth the effort.
