Our channels have been shuffled today and doing a rescan failed to find BBC1 and 2. I needed to add a further MUX (650000) to the ini file which is in NPVR\Tuning\DVB-T, so mine now reads;

[TERTYPE]
1=United Kingdom
2=Central - Sutton Coldfield

[DVB]
0=6
1=1,634000,0,0,8
2=2,650000,0,0,8
3=3,658000,0,0,8
4=4,682000,0,0,8
5=5,714000,0,0,8
6=6,722000,0,0,8
7=7,746000,0,0,8

I've got the same problem I will try adding that MUX as soon as some recordings have finished. Thanks for the tip

I needed to empty and reload EPG and restart recording service but my recurring recordings are missing at the moment so you may want to export those before you start in case you need to reimport them later

Been working on this myself this morning and I use this one (think the OP version should have counter line at 0=7 rather than 0=6). I also have the HD MUX in mine.

Code:
[TERTYPE]
1=United Kingdom
2=Central - Sutton Coldfield(7/9)

[DVB]
0=7
1=1,578000,0,0,8
2=2,634000,0,0,8
3=3,650000,0,0,8
4=4,658000,0,0,8
5=5,714000,0,0,8
6=6,722000,0,0,8
7=7,746000,0,0,8
Also this changes again on the 21st and I think this is what it should look like then (anybody confirm?):
Code:
[TERTYPE]
1=United Kingdom
2=Central - Sutton Coldfield(21/9)

[DVB]
0=6
1=1,618000,0,0,8
2=2,626000,0,0,8
3=3,642000,0,0,8
4=4,650000,0,0,8
5=5,666000,0,0,8
6=6,674000,0,0,8
Silverstone LC10M with iMON
Gigabyte 780G+4850e, AMD 6570
Blackgold BGT3620, Harmony 555 Remote
Win7 32-bit, SAF

I’ve edited the DVB-T ini file as described above. But can’t get my Techno Trend tuner card to tune 650000 kHz (PSB1/BBCA mux) It starts to tunes from 634166 kHz then jumps to 658166 kHz tunes all the other mux ok. It’s not showing as attempting to tune 650000KHZ in the NPVR logs.

Has anyone got any ideas?

The only time this seems to happen to me is if the file being used and the one I have edited are different! Try changing the text in the ini file to make sure the one selected in setup is the one you are editing.. Wink

Cheers Martin!...you where right, there are two tuning ini files, for different types of tuner cards cards I assume? So of course I’d edited the wrong one.

My card uses 0054 ini file now looks like this:-

[TERTYPE]
1=Midlands and Eastern England
2=Sutton Coldfield
[DVB]
0=7
1=C41,634166,0,0,8
2=C43,650000,0,0,8
3=C44,658166,0,0,8
4=C47,682166,0,0,8
5=C51,714166,0,0,8
6=C52,722166,0,0,8
7=C55,746000,0,0,8

Thanks again Martin.
