Cannot set recording from PC client

The error in the log file says cannot write to read only database. But when I check the properties of npvr.db3 it shows everyone has full access. I'm running 2.2.6 and very happy with the performance of it. PC client is actually my laptop on a g network. I'm able to stream HD from DirecTV through NPVR flawlessly. I can see the guide and recordings. Can play recordings just can't schedule one.

It sounds like your share on the server (which contains the npvr.db3 file) is read-only.

i think i had the same issue - i could view the TV guide ok but when i tried to schedule something it would pop up with a .net framework error - reading the message i found that i needed to allow port 8968 incoming on the server firewall - as soon as i did that i could schedule shows etc from my client.
