In GBPVR, when you select a recording, the popup window's buttons are listed:
- Play, Resume, Delete, Close

In NPVR, however, they're:
- Close, Play, Resume, Delete

To me, playing a recording is the most likely thing a user would want to do when selecting one. I'd love to see "Play" back at the top please?

It would also be nice - as an option - to be able to hide the Close buttons (and the ".." up navigation icons in the libraries) for those of us who always use a remote to do this (via ESC).

This has been discussed before. I believe the reasoning behind the order was that the top 2 things a user wants to do with a recording are Play it and view it's details. The Play operation has it's own shortcut (the Play button on your remote control), so closing the details of a recording would be the default option in the popup. Obviously Esc (or back) has the same effect.

I see your point, but if my fingers are hovering over my remote's D-pad, then I don't really want to have to move them off that to find the Play button. Too lazy I guess Rolleyes

The problem would be solved if we could turn off Close buttons, which would be an easy thing to code as it's just an extra "if" statement before they're added. That way we get Play at the top if it's off, and Close at the top if not. Happy bunnies all round surely?

Since this is the wishlist the Close at the top doesn't bother me but I would prefer an option allowing the Play key to act as Resume by default it the file has already been started. Likewise Resume is higher on my list than Play when it gets inserted into the list.

I really like this suggestion. It would also stop those accidental deletes when you are not paying attention & a recording doesn't have a resume when you expect it to so you select delete when you think you are selecting resume, with this order you would just select Play & all would be sweet.
