Having issues recording

I am new to this software. Got it installed yesterday and I am trying to set it up to record TV shows. Here is my setup

PC : Phenom 2 955 running Win7 x64 / GeForce 260GTX
Tuner: HD Homerun dual tuner 3rd generation
Public User is on C:\, software was targeted at F:\

As stated above, NextPVR is installed and I can listen to the TV signals I can get. But when I try to record I get error messages. Once I get the error message, I cannot listen to the Live TV anymore unless I restart the PC.

Also, Recording service does not start and can`t manage to get it started either through the Windows services or even with the Start NPVR services.

Here is the log I got, as you will see I tried a few time to watch live TV after my attempt to record.[ATTACH=CONFIG]31789[/ATTACH]

I think you've got the same problem as this other guy: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...th-ATI-650. On the last page of that thread we fix his recording service not starting.

Ok, we got that one thanks... service is running and I can restart it when it stops, but, that is the problem. it is always stopping when I make a manual recording. Here is the log of NRecord.exe. I did it twice and both time it ends when it is trying to wake up.

I don`t know if it is important, but my output directory is a NAS drive. Can NPVR support that?

I cant see any attempted recording in that log. Try again and repost the logs immediately after the attempt.

If you're using a NAS drive, you'd need to specify a UNC path, rather than a mapped drive, since the recording service runs as a different user account and doesnt see the drive mapping.

Bingo... Before I got your answer, I changed the drive to a local one and it worked. I just changed the network drive from Mapped :-( to UNC :-), worked too but on my NAS.
