Schedules Direct and extra info

What, if any, is the easiest way to get the extra info to show up in the TV Guide when using SchedulesDirect as the guide source? It doesn't auto-populate that info.

On a side note, I don't understand why the extra info is purged and isn't kept as default.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with 'SchedulesDirect', but if it is using an xmltv file, and that xmltv file is used in npvr as epg source, you should be able to use the XmltvExtras utitlity as described on the wiki page.

For the second point, the XmltvExtras utitility needs to be run after each epg update of npvr, as the identifiers of the epg events in the npvr database change and the corresponding extra information in the tv listings databse need to be changed accordingly.
