I have a problem with DVB-S/S2 EPG. I have a customised satellite ini file that includes all the transponders on the Optus D1 satellite that I want to use. Some are vertical, some are horizontal. During an EPG update, only the EPG from one transponder is populated. I suspect that my universal LNB is taking a little bit long either to switch between horizontal and vertical or low/high band - and therefore the EPG scan is timing out.
Now, if I enable EPG update during live TV, all of my EPG is populated. However, the old problem of multiple copies of EPG then crops up, meaning I need to right click many times to move forward in the time-line. This problem has been around since the last version, only it seems worse since I upgraded to 2.2.6 with the R2 patch.
Is there a way to make nPVR wait a little longer, after it sets the LNB polarity and/or 22 Khz band selection, before it scans for EPG?
Or, is the issue of multiple EPG layers when set to update during live TV ever going to be fixed?
Cheers!
