The XMBC info scraper I Use creates episode screen shots with tbn file extensions. these are jpg files but with a tbn extension.
I'm curious if there is a config file that you can specify the file extensions to load in the video info plugin?

You cant currently tell it to load a .tbn file, but I can try to add support in future.

Can you post a sample file for me to check?

Hmm, I assume you were going to want show it where it currently shows a folder.jpg or mediafilename.jpg, but I see its the wrong shape. Where exacly do you imagine this being shown?

TBN files are designed for the icon and cover images not the metadata as documented here http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Thumbnails. I have a wish somewhere for you to add support for the wide icons/tbn's on the Recording menu as shown on that link,

I've been using jpg's in that size for years.
I can rename all the tbn files to jpg and they work great, just thought it would be simple to add .tbn to a config file somewhere.
They go along side the description. They don't fill the space perfectly but I've never been to worried about that.

Sorry, but god that is ugly. If they're all that shape, then they look like they'd be suited better to somewhere else in the UI, but I'm not sure where that better place might be.

I can probably add something in recordings for these wide icons.

What would expected as the normal filename be for one of these wide icons?

I think they are <foldername>.tbn hopefully from the folder itself or Media\Shows.

They are filename.tbn
like in the sample I sent.
I used to have a Theme that suited the wide view of the image, I think the list of episodes was on the left. the image was on the right and the description was at the bottom.
EDIT: See attached.
