Avi playback on MVP

Hi all
Im using GBPVR over my network with my MVP and Im using the MyVideos plugin.

My movies are mostly avi (more than likely Divx). When I try and play a movie the progress bar shows that the movie is only 1 second long, then the screen goes blank and im sent back to the list of movies but im unable to use the remote. This is happening every time i try and play an avi.

Is anyone else having these problems?
I would rather use GBPVR than the software bundled with the MVP.

currently gbpvr doesnt support avi playback on the mvp you would have to use something to convert them to mpeg2 (this can be done on the fly, theres aplugin that can do this for you, but i forget which one).

xrecord. You can specify the converter in the skin. It uses vlc by default but you can use any of them. Not perfect yet but a start.
