Issues with new NPVR install...

Using NPVR with Win7 on a multimedia laptop and a DCR-2650 box. I installed HDhomerun and all the other programs recommended in the forums (.net4, visuall ++). Setup seemed to go fine. Both tuners on the box were found and all channels downloaded. The program is working, but with major bugs:

No sound. I have MPEG1 Audio, AC3 Audio, and AAC Audio decoder set to MS DTV-DVD Audio Decoder. I've tried MPEG1 set to the other two decoders in the dropbox, but no help. I also downloaded the AC3 filter but the browse button next to the AC3 Audio dropbox doesn't do anything, so I can't get it loaded.

Blank Channels. Some scrambled channels come in fine, but others are blank. ESPNHD works, but ESPN2HD does not. ALL of these channels come in fine on WMC so I don't think it's a cable co or "copy freely" issue.

Channel loading problems. When I have the channel list up and click on a channel that I know will work, it never loads properly the first time. I have to pull up the list and click on the same channel again.

Any help with these issues would be great!

Even though this decoder does support all these audio formats, Microsoft have knobbled the decoder to only do AC3 and AAC in their own software. You'll need to use a different decoder for AC3 or AAC. My first thought is this is a copy-freely issue. NextPVR can only view/record channels that are copy-freely. WMC can do copy-freely/copy-once/copy-never.

I dont follow you. Please provide more info - maybe some screenshots to show the problem.

If you installed the 64-bit version of AC3 filter it won't show up in npvr, you need the 32-bit version.
