playing blueray movies

I've installed the latest version on my laptop and hooked up a blue ray drive via usb adapter and I can get the blueray playback to work great. However, when I hook up the blueray drive to my htpc in the same usb fashion all that happense when I try to watch the movie is that the screen flickers and it goes back to the main menu. I've tried to compare settings between the two but cant seem to see any difference. Attached are the logs right after I tried to view the movie.

Do you have the LAV Splitter and AnyDVD-HD installed? You need to.

yes I do, the anydvd-hd is currently the trial as I wanted to get it working before buying it though. It works on the laptop so I simply tried it on the actualy htpc

In that log snippet, it looks like LAV Splitter isnt present.

Ok, I reinstalled the LAV splitter and it will now play the movie but it seems to play at double speed.
