Upgrade from 3.9.2 to 4.2.3 Going to full screen stop playing now!

So I stop the recording service on the server then on the client.
Exit Ntray on the server and the client.
Install 4.2.3 but it complained about the not being able to write NPVRServiceControl.exe.

Cancel the installation. Tried again same problem. Went to uninstall 3.9.2, Install 4.2.3 same error. Now I am unable to install 4.2.3 and I can't locate uninstall.exe.

Reboot, install 4.2.3 and it finally succeeded.

I then installed 4.2.3 on the client, things when fine.
However, now on the client if I am playing a recording and hit ALT-Enter (or double click) to go to full screen, the playing stop and I am back to the recording menu. This doesn't happen on the server.

I also see some stuttering when playback begins or when skipping forward. So I wonder if I need to apply https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthrea...538#post528538

Also now on the client when I right click during playback I get and error about not being able to find 'P:\TV\CBC News Network'.

I went to setting and change the server path \\Hpa6245n\tv\ instead of P:\TV\ (I do have a P:\TV\ on the client but it's empty. Still I get and exception when I right click during playback on the client.

Also Ntray is not longer present in the Start Menu / NextPVR.

If I disable "Context Menu on right mouse button" now if I right click it stop the playback !!

Also when I click on NTray Icon, show status works fine, however show settings doesn't bring the settings when NPVR is playing a recording.

I noticed that Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86) 14.13.26020 was installed on the Server when I installed NextPVR.
However it was not installed on the client. Is this normal ?

It may have already had what it needed. If you can see any video, then it has the runtime.

That's what I guessed. I reinstalled NextPVR after a reboot of the client but still having the same issues.

I'm not sure. I'd always recommend using the same version on the client and the server.

Where you really using 'Ctrl-Enter' or did you mean 'Alt-Enter'? It's supposed to be 'Alt-Enter'.
