SearchLite has been updated to utilize much more of the information that is available in the EPG data that sub now makes available. Previous versions of SearchLite did allow some of this functionality but the information will be much easier to get it for movie star-ratings and genres.

As a recap movie rating searching is done by using the . key on the keyboard or the 1 key on the remote. Hit the number of periods equal to number of stars you search. If you wonder why I didn't use the asterisk key, I am saving that for wild card searching in the future.

Genre searching is also available, but you need to run genreLite in PostEPGUpdate.bat as explained here. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...enre-Maker I am probably the only one that used this before, maybe some of you, especially in North America will be motivated.

Thanks to the hard work of UJB, a lot more information is returned when you Search too (First Run, Original Air Date, Genre) and SearchLite includes the 2.3.6 option to record only New episodes.

The file is now available on the wiki http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...teSetup.7z

As a reminder since some people like to search by letter like the built-in Search, if you hold the remote/keyboard left or right keys you can quickly move by the starting letter.

Finally improvement to accented character searching are available using the AltGr key standards, and the accented characters available on the number keys on the remote enabled with Ctrl-F/FF Thanks to Reddwarf and his help testing this.

I believe your file is corrupt - I only get a 3k file that 7zip doesn't like one bit.

I have now uploaded a new version of SearchLite to the wiki that supports movie trailer playback using whurlston's YouTube plugin for playback. Thanks to whurlston for making an API for his plugin.

The feature works using the online search when themoviesdb.org. When the TMDb lookup returns a url for a trailer you will be given an option to play it. This is true for all searches, plus the advanced movie/film searches on star-rating and genre available with North American and Radio Times data. A brief demo is available here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mTl6F0zqgk

If you have Exact mode searches can include online searches for movies not in your EPG.

For trailer support, users should use one of the YouTube dlls found at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post429872 until a new release is posted.

Either one will work. The local buffering proxy is still experimental but it is disabled by default in both builds.

Those builds only include the dlls, so you will need the skin file included in the package linked in the first post of that thread if you have not already installed it.

I forgot to update the installer version, I'll do that too. At least the assembly and file version are current.

Thanks UJB, you're part of this solution too. It should work on the NMT, if you have the NMT working with the YouTube plugin. To select the dot for star-ratings use the 1 key and pause a few seconds. Backspace is rewind.
