hvr 1800 no analog scan

I am trying to set up my new Windows 7 64 bit htpc with npvr but when I set it up it doesn't see an analog tuner just atsc or QAM (and what's IPTV?). To test things out I set up windows media center and it found the channels just fine.

Note that I actually haven't installed any drivers, I've only let Windows 7 do all the work. Should i be installing wintv7 from http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...1800.html?

Yes, install WinTV7 and the analog device will show up.

you mean the wintv7 softwar right? Is there a free version or do I have to pay for it? I thought it used to be free. I installed the drivers from the link I posted but I don't think that was what you were referring to as I still can't see the analog option.

nm I think I found it. Sneaky guys...they hid the normal version.

sorry, this is becoming my own support thread here...but do I have to map the channels to my xmltv file manually? Right now I'm only doing analog channels.

On the Device -> Analog .... there is an Import button that you should be able to use instead of scanning.
