When trying to watch a show recorded using my HDHomeRun, I can skip forward/back during about the first 3 or so minutes of the recording. Anywhere past that, if I try to skip forward, the screen goes black and I notice the HDD activity go up dramatically. Eventually it kicks me back to the recordings menu after about a minute. I have been able to watch the recordings from start to end if I don't try to skip forward so it seems the data is there. Previous recordings made using GBPVR from the HDHR work fine so I don't believe this is a decoder issue. I don't have any problem with skipping forward/backward on the recordings from the PVR150. I notice this also happens with Live TV timeshifted on the HDHR. If I skip back more than 3 minutes it plays fine but once i try to skip forward, screen goes back and I'm kicked out.

I see this sometimes on dvb-c recordings too, both on in-progeess recordings and on paused live-tv.

I ran the low level test. It was displaying just dots for about 20 minutes then I saw a couple 'S'. I killed it after about 30 minutes and it gave a summary. 3 sequence errors, 0's for everthing else. I loaded up the HDHR setup and it prompted to install an update to the HDHR. A new 2012 firmware was installed and I believe updated BDA drivers and .NET

I didn't run the test again but did try watching Live TV in NPVR and was able to skip forward and back in the timeshifted recording for 15-20 minutes so this has me hopeful.

Tonite's recording will be the true test.

Just to update this topic. Flashing the firmware and updating the BDA drivers to the latest fixed the issue I was having.
