Guys, recently got a new Samsung galaxy tab 7.7 but am already a user of npvr for windows/pch clients.

Are there any options for using the npvr system on the galaxy? This is my first android device so a learning curve currently!

Cheers.

Graham
That'll do it Wink

No Music or Video library support yet though but they're currently in the pipeline.

Cheers,

fabulous. really impressed with this. My kids will have cheaper android devices shortly so this will fit nicely with that. Thanks for all your effort on this. I need to find a way of getting .ts files (recordings) to play in mx player.

If you select a recording from the Recordings screen, it should play fine with MX Video Player. Is it not working for you?

afraid not. there is a pause then mx video prompts with 'sorry, this video cannot be played' Sad Do I need anything specific setting up in Mx video?

No, not that I can think of. Could you post a message in the nDroid support forum about this? It might be useful for other nDroid users in the future.

Zip and attach the nDroidServiceListener and nDroidServiceStreamer log files and I'll take a look. These can be found in...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Beetec Services\nDroid Service\logs (for XP)
C:\Users\Public\Beetec Services\nDroid Service\logs (for Vista, Win7 etc)

OK I will create a new post and upload the logs shortly. there are no entries in the two log files around the time I try and view the recordings though. When you do this on yours, does the vid in mx player show the full path to where the recording is? (ie d:\server\video_file_name.ts)

Actually, I've just had a thought. Are you using a software firewall on your system? I just realised I possibly failed to document that a second port needs to be open for the streaming to work. The streamer listens on the nDroid port + 1, i.e., the default for nDroid itself is 8790 but the streamer listens on 8791.

Yes that's how MX PLayer displays it even though it's pulling a network stream (it omits the http://<server>:<port> stuff).
