ZDF HD (German): only sound, no video with NextPVR 2.4.3

Hi,

I am using Next PVR 2.4.3 on Windows 7 64bit, connecting to DVB-C channels through a Hauppauge 5500 PCIe card and using the Arc Soft Codec for H.264 decoding. All (of which 2 HD channels) but one channels are working properly, so I am quite sure the codecs are running ok. However, one HD channel, the German ZDF HD, is only playing sound with the video remaining black. If I play the ts files of this channel in another player (VLC, Media Player Classic, etc...) these files play without issue both video and sound. I can't see any errors in the log files. The only thing I noticed is that, as opposed to the other HD channels, for ZDF HD channel, I am missing the sequence:

I attached the log files where I switched to arte HD (which works: video and sound) and then switched to ZDF HD (sound, but no video). I you want I can provide a short example to a ts file.

Is this a know issue or could somebody have a deeper look into it?

I took a look at the log, but it looks fine. Can you supply a short sample recordings from ZDF HD?

Unfortunately I'm having problems getting that file to download. I've tried a few times, but the download seems to die around the 40% mark. I tried with both Chrome and and IE9.

It would probably help if you used a download client with resume support.

I've use a download manager with resume capabilities, but it cant handle the weird scripts used for downloading from that site.

I can't even get to the link (times out). Given the dyndns.org address, it's probably sitting on a server at his house. Might be more useful for the OP to post it to skydrive or something.

Yes, it was a home server on a NAS, and I couldn't get it all either. However I used pkzipfix (an old DOS program) and it actually fixed it enough to extract the 7MB or so I had. I doesn't play on the PC for me either but it does on the NMT. It opens and plays in graphedit too using the same decoders I have configured on the PC.

I've attached the reader-automap file if that helps. Looking at it I see

23:36:41.687 MapDemuxPinPID: Video to pid 6132 {0x17f4)

The NMT maps it to pid 6110.

In that automap log it looks like it's got an odd ordering of the streams, which causes it to pick the wrong stream for the video stream. I should be able to fix it when he supplies a sample I can download.
